Encoding settings and resolutions..

For users of Bencos, RA6, Handbrake and cyko who targets bitrates/filesizes..

Settings: for audio use 32kpbs or 48kbps..

250kbps-268kbps bitrate = for NON-action series.. (it'll result to around 40mb-50mb)
Starting resolutions are (512x288, 592x336 and 640x360)

285kbps-300kbps bitrate = anime series with few action scenes..(55mb - 65mb)
Resolutions - (592x336, 640x360, 704x400)

300kbps-350kbps bitrate = series with a lot of action scenes.. (65mb - 75mb)
Resolutions - (640x360, 656x368, 704x400, 768x432, 848x480)

350kbps-500kbps = HQ settings, with HQ settings use 64kbps as audio value.. (75mb- 100mb)
(848x480, 960x576, 1024x576)

For handbrake : use this for low settings - (ref = 3), (bframes = 3), (subme = 7), (aq = 0.6) (trellis = always) and (Deblock 1:1)

High settings - ref = 8, bframes = 5, subme = 10, aq = 0.6 , trellis = always, Deblock = 1:1, Psd = 0.0

I suggest NO to using 720 resolution..

For CRF encoders, Handbrake and cyko since Bencos/RA6 don't have CRF settings..
Just depend on your taste but I again suggest to NO 720p..

For handbrake : use this for low settings - (ref = 3), (bframes = 3), (subme = 7), (aq = 0.6) (trellis = always) and (Deblock 1:1)

High settings - ref = 8, bframes = 5, subme = 10, aq = 0.6 , trellis = always, Deblock = 1:1, Psd = 0.0
